I've Windows 11 and Ubuntu installed dual boot on my pc.In order to make easier to access files by both the OSs, I created a partition on my disk accessible both from Ubuntu and Windows.
The problem is that Ubuntu only sees the folder contained in it as read-only, root seems to be the owner, but there is no way to make these folders readable.
The only thing that (sometimes) works is going back to windows, un-flagging the 'read-only' attribute in propreties, and then go back again to Ubuntu, but, as I said, not always it works.
Does anybody has a setup similar to mine? Suggestions?
I have tried to run the program sudo chmod -R 777 .
on the main folder but for each file the result is file system in read-only
