Windows camera driver is missing but it works on Ubuntu

For a couple of weeks whenever I tried to open my camera during an online call on windows 10 it could not find my camera. I was fine with this as it was not really a pressing issue but I now need the camera to work properly. Device manager had the camera driver on hidden and I assumed that the cause was that windows could not find the right driver. I tried a lot of stuff, windows update, driver update, uninstalling the driver and trying to update windows again. Nothing worked.

Today I thought abouth checking the camera issue on ubuntu and it actually can find the camera and works as expected. Does anyone know if I could take the ubuntu drivers and do something with them so windows can find them as well or some other way to fix the windows drivers?

I've been using dual boot with windows 10 and ubuntu 22.04 for about half a year. I doubt that is the issue as the problem is rather recent.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
