AX88179 Gigabit Ethernet Adaptor on Ubuntu 20, only working on half duplex

I have a small server setup at home, and it is running ubuntu 23

and i have usb gigabit ethernet adapter on it, but it is only running in half duplex

i am a bit new to working with ubuntu and linux and i would like to know how i can change this card to run in full duplex,

i tried

running

sudo ethtool -s enxa0cec88195ad duplex full

but i get a error

netlink error: Operation not supported

i checked the chipset page and it should support full duplex.

Any one can help me with this?
