Error mounting external hard drive in Ubuntu - "wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock

I'm having trouble accessing my external hard drive on Ubuntu. Normally, I enter the password (since the drive is BitLocker encrypted), and it mounts without issues. However, now I'm getting an error when I try to open it:

Error mounting /dev/dm-0 at /media/username/DRIVE_NAME: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/mapper/bitlk-<UUID>, missing codepage or helper program, or other error

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Disconnecting and reconnecting the drive.Rebooting the system. The drive works fine on most days, so I’m not sure what has changed. Could this be related to BitLocker encryption? Any guidance on how to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated!
